The Museum
of the American Cocktail™ is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising
professional and consumer knowledge of mixology through exhibits, classes
and tasting sessions. Presently
located on the second floor of the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum, the exhibit
gives visitors a close up view of over two hundred years of cocktail history,
including vintage cocktail shakers, bottles, Prohibition-era literature and
music, tools, and other memorabilia from the outstanding collections of the
museum founders.The
Museum is hosting a series of informative and entertaining mixology
seminars led by guest mixologists including: Dale DeGroff, Tony
Abou-Ganim, Gary Regan, Anistatia Miller, Jared Brown, David Wondrich, Chris
McMillian, and other influential bar chefs from around the world. For info,

If you'd like to expand your cocktail repertoire or want to brush up your
drink-making skills before your next party, sign up to study with the King
of Cocktails, Dale DeGroff. You'll garner basic background about spirits,
along with recipes for popular drinks, and treated to a look at the golden
age of the cocktail and its facinating lore. Each student will be equipped
with a set of bar tools in order to mix drinks along with the master.
