can very often fall short. It is winemaking's Holy Grail. Not unlike '101

An earthy nose with aromas of fresh berries laced within, the flavors are a
rich spectrum of red and black berries, with delicate earth notes in the
finish. ZD, known for their commitment to using American oak barrels,
admits that this is their only wine to be aged in French oak. The recipe is
pretty established, in that ZD has been making a Carneros pinot noir since
1969.
